Jefferson County Parks are open to the public from sunrise to sunset.

Directions: Irondale. Heading East on Irondale Road from HWY 19, turn right on Patison, right on S. 7th St, turn right on Alma Street in to park.

Amenities
Beautiful irrigated Soccer and Football Field, Baseball, and Softball Field with skinned in-field. Nice playground. Outdoor basketball courts. Toilet. Picnic tables. ATHLETIC FIELDS TEMPORARY CLOSURES: HJ Carroll, Irondale Community Park, and Memorial Field athletic fields closed Monday, Aug 25 (7:00 am) to Wednesday, Aug 27 (7:00 am) for herbicide application. ATHLETIC FIELDS ONLY.

Application: Monday, August 25, 2025   7:00 am - 12:00 pm
  • Product Name: “Change Up”
  • Active Ingredient(s): MCPA (41.68%), fluroxypyr (4.17%), dicamba (4.17%)
  • Purpose: To control broadleaf weeds in the athletic fields, promoting more durable and better performing fields.
Re-Entry Interval: The treated area must be kept clear of all people and pets for 24 hours following the application.

Please do not enter the treated area until Friday, August 27, 2025, at 7:00 AM.

No Alcohol in Irondale Community Park
“In the State of Washington it is illegal to open or consume alcoholic beverages in a public place" (see Title 66.44.100 of the RCW). This law applies in all Jefferson County parks, campgrounds, and recreation facilities. Exceptions to this law can be granted by the Washington State Liquor Control Board (see Title 314 of the WAC) in the form of a banquet permit or a special occasion license for example. All proposals to serve alcohol at an event in a Jefferson County Park are subject to approval by Jefferson County.
